Professional manufacture and production requires machinery and devices with which parts and products can be clamped, gripped and transported. Designing, constructing and providing these manufacturing facilities and manual devices is a core competence of EDAG PS.
The requirements for manufacturing facilities differ for every customer and are often very individual. We consistently adjust to the requirements of our customers. This already starts with the design systems and CAD guidelines to be applied, and of course incorporates the standard specifications of the respective companies. This goes to such lengths for automobile manufacturers that we have our own engineering teams for each customer. These teams know all the standards, guidelines and even the new developments, and have a wealth of experience gained from completed customer projects – a perfect basis for long-term, close collaboration.
In the design, our range of services extends from the digital implementation of the first idea up to the creation of detailed designs and manufacturing drawings. In the past, we have even been able to successfully implement complex engineering tasks on schedule, even when they require more than 200,000 hours.

MOBILE DATA ACQUISITION – FROM COMPONENT TESTS TO BUILDING SURVEY
Using our modern measurement engineering, we digitize all components, surfaces and complete factories. These precise measurements create the efficient interface between the virtual object and the real object. We can even measure hard-to-reach areas and complex components without contact, regardless of size and material.
In the production process, real measured data can be compared directly with the specifications from the CAD system. This ensures secure production processes and provides a way to increase the quality of the product.
