The future of automotive body engineering is set to be mapped out at the AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING EXPO at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre on 4th – 5th June, 2019.
From the concept to final assembly
The AEE 2019 is to be held in Nuremberg on 4th and 5th June. Every two years, well-known speakers and exhibitors appear here to present body engineering related topics. The entire process chain is taken into consideration: automotive body manufacturing, painting and assembly.
Under the motto “from the concept to final assembly” you can learn about up-to-date products, take a trip in one of the virtual learning spaces, exchange ideas with qualified industrial experts and discover the fascination of new technologies.
The AEE Innovation Award, which will again be the highlight of this year’s event, goes to the most innovative of the concepts submitted by exclusively selected participants.
2017: Electrification and Industrie 4.0
The dominant theme of the AEE in 2017 was the transition from the combustion engine to the 100% BEV by way of hybrid models.
Exhibitors from more than 90 countries inspired trade visitors with subjects such as composite and hybrid materials in sheet metal forming, new image and data processing concepts in joining technology, VR/AR-assisted methods in automotive painting.
2019: Networking, flexibility and sofas
These concepts are now being expanded and navigated further towards the future.
Digital networking, flexible production and lightweight design using new material mixes define the current discourse on vehicle manufacturing. At the AEE, there will be a complete rethink from the point of view of body manufacturing.
EDAG PS will this time be presenting a cosier – though far from boring – concept: engineering from the couch.
Be our guest!
As one of this year’s nominees for the innovation award, we are already displaying the star at our stand. So you can’t miss us.
So come to Nuremberg to the AEE trade fair, make yourself comfortable on our couch, immerse yourself in the future-oriented concept of digital collaborative working and, of course, keep your finger crossed that we will be able to defend the title “Innovation Star” we won in 2017!
